Polly Maberly in This Story of Yours

Originally staged at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 1968 with the help of Harold Pinter, John Hopkins’ This Story of Yours is a harrowing three act examination of a policeman accused of murdering a suspected paedophile during questioning.

At EIFF 2017, in a unique extension of his cutting-edge screen work, Gerard Johnson will direct a stage reading of this controversial play, which was later adapted for cinema and filmed as The Offence, directed by Sidney Lumet and starring ex-EIFF patron Sean Connery.

Our very own Polly Maberly features in this line in and performs from 22nd June as part of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
